Phosphorous hotspot?

I think its possible. It would be nice to know. If I see another sodium hotspot I'll spit.

note: searching on "scorched" planet with Phosphorous deposits.

I have a phosphorus mine. It's on an extreme weather hot planet in a blue system. Daytime extreme storm temps over 600F. Makes it more interesting when picking up from the depots... :) When I was looking for it, I personally kept finding magnetized ferrite hotspots... they were all over; phosphorus and activated indium (which I also eventually found on the same planet) seemed a lot more rare.

Took me a long time to find one as well, I felt lucky that it was a "B" class. I just needed to build a few extra levels so it could keep up with the other resource extractors I needed for crafting.

Thanks for the ideas. I found a station that sells about 4k, but buying it is not as satisfying as producing it myself.

I also have one on an extreme hot planet in a yellow system, took about 4 tries to find. Like Brew said, there's a lot of magnetized ferrite around it.

I have one close to the center of Galaxy 42. Not an extreme planet, just a scorched/volcanic one. Phosphorous scans from space as a resource. Guess I lucked out. I had no idea they appear to be rare.

Never seen a phosphorous hotspot, but I have seen phosphorous deposits. You can plop down one of those portable gatherer things and fuel it to get phosphorous, but I'm convinced that's the best you'll get at present.

Update: based on you geniuses here, I narrowed my search to planets with Phosphorus and Magnetized Ferrite. I happened to have a base connected to a power hotspot on this planet.

Specs: Boiling planet with Solanium, copper, phosphorus, magnetized ferrite. Note there are no "activated" metals here. The first mineral hotspot I checked was the jackpot. Its within 300u of my base and the power hotspot. Its a class C but who cares. Mission accomplished.

I just now found one on a normal scorched planet. Took about 50 copper finds and around 1h. But they do exist
