black and white planet

idk what to do with this. my friend has color and i don't ive flown up and back down, left to the main menu came back and exited to desktop still black and white.

Some planets are naturally black and white, seems like you and your friend are desynchronized. It happens some times.

Never had black and white planet but there are really weird colour effects, mostly common is the "chromatic" planet (is it called that way?) where everything is like grey and red, personally I don't like that very much, really looks like GPU got broke :)
The coolest so far was UV-Light barren planet where all the rocks looked like under a giant UV-lamp - very strange.

ok so the planet my character my ship everythings supposed to be black and white? with a red hue.....? i fly out of that planet and the color is brought back to my ship and everything that makes 0 sense if my friend has color in the planet and off the planet anyway

The game applies a filter to some planets, but it seems that your friend didn't got that.
The game often doesn't synchronize properly, and a player see an enemy that the other doesn't see, or one experiences a severe storm and the other player doesn't.
The MP is just glitchy like that.

i've seen the whole storm desync thing but it just confuses me that my ship and character are shaded black and white with it? i can almost see nothing my friends making a base there and i cant see xD
