What's going on with this power grid?
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/4105585931625499206/22CBDFA86F285727ED550503E05E570080C0F11D/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

It tells me the grid is overloaded and all the batteries are depleted. How is it overloaded AT THE SOURCE? It says each power stand is generating power, but none of it is going to the batteries.

Right now the ONLY thing this is powering is a teleportation circle. Eventually it will be powering an indium mine, but atm the power stands themselves aren't running through the power lines for some reason. Any ideas?

How far is the power source from the base computer? If the power source is over 300u from the base computer, you will need to push the base boundary. There are video's on YouTube regarding this; as well as information in the pinned topics.

Also, since Prisms was released in June, wire snap points are a bit more difficult to snap to. Check to make sure these are correctly connected.

That was a pretty messy build on a power source, in my opinion.
But should still work perfectly ok, if you did everything right of course.
With all those generators, you should at least get 600-700kp, provided they are close to the hotspot.

Could it be that you have two bases there?
Beginners often make the mistake when building on hotspots by setting up multiple bases for it, however, that does not work, as power and resources can not be transferred between bases.

Nope, not a beginner. Also yes, the boundaries are pushed. Also no, there's not two bases. I don't honestly care if the power generators are linked together messily, I just want to know why even the lines between generators are red. I've never seen it.

Huh, it's happening in 2 of my other bases too. Both of those run on solar panels, and the batteries say they're unconnected to a grid, the panels say they're not connected to batteries, but they are. I even ran an extra line from the panels to the batteries to make sure. All the connectikons are red. The other two bases are working fine. What the hell?

After one of the Frontiers patches, a few of my bases had this happen also. I had to delete the wires and replace them. Have no clue why. Also I have a few of the cylindrical rooms that the solar panels on the roof and batteries inside were no longer auto connected. I had to run wires to get them working again. Later I realized If I just delete and replace the Solar Panels and Batteries, they are fine. I have sent screenshots and bug/glitch reports to the Zen desk.

I've seen this when there's not enough power for everything. I built another one and the issue went away.
Might be because in the picture you've got 2 wires crossing each other's path. That can confuse the game a bit.

Wire cross each others' paths all the time.

Honestly I don't know what's going on. Two of my bases stop working every time they load. I have to disconnect the last battery from the base items, then reconnect it to the things that need power to turn it back on. It's happening in 2 separate bases, one powered by solar panels and one powered by generators. These are mining bases so this is really a problem.

Are any of these bases near each other? Double check the "editing base" field when you place something. I mixed up 2 bases yesterday and it drove me crazy.
