Powering down prefab rooms with switches?
I can't find a single guide or anything that tells how to wire a teleporter in a prefab so you can switch it off, wiring it doesn't work like a normal base and I've tried dozens layouts but the portal just stays powered 24/7.

I believe the only way to achieve this is to separate the whole room with a gap and have power going to the room through the switch.

if the room is powered, anything fitted inside will be too on the prefabs. if you want to be able to power it down you'd need to build your own room, that way you can isolate power supplies

Small room building blocks room for the telporter, I use motion switch to power it.

Prox switches are probably best, I'd post up my base set-up if I had the time to launch NMS anytime soon

I've been using switches on non-prefabs, however prefabs are the only building options that have REAL lighting. I've tried numerous switch combinations that work on non prefabs but don't work on prefabs.
