Nautilus Controls - OMG
OMG. Controlling the sub has got to be the most painstaking endeavor in any video game ever! Does Hello Games consist of only five people?

More like 30 or something?

Ah, this game needs like Far Cry level of development. I know lots of you complain about the game (and all the bugs of course) but Far Cry is developed by a company with nearly 600 employees. This game is a classic example of "bite off more that you can chew". I do commend the developers though since I've not had a single crash or major problem in nearly 100 hundred hours - but a game of this scale needs a much greater investment in resources, which unfortunately they have not been able to get.

Works just like all the other exocraft...which is not really good. My advice is put your money on underwater upgrades and only use it when you are required. I use it for a few minutes for the Abyss mini-game...but you can even use your ship there and only need it for the short trip from whatever the nearest island is to the objective.

Like a lot of the additions to the game, 10 minutes of fun. Not very practical. Critters are the same situation...nutrition..same. Just don't expect any of the "extras" to be life changing. The QS stuff is just carnival crap.

They started out with 5, now they have about 25, but only half are working on NMS.

I used the dub, the controls never seemed overtly painful to me. What exactly don't you like about them?

I find Nautilus controls to be ok. What makes me mad is the Minotaur... this ♥♥♥♥ simply can't turn.

Specifically on PC, when I'm underwater I need to move the mouse down to rise but when I'm at the surface I need to move the mouse up to stay above the water and if I leave the mouse alone while at the surface I start diving.

i don't know but you can definitely tell different coders' work... like the interfaces are the same but different...

for example: i'm a controller player... when buying stuff from the galactic store, you can use the left/right d-pad to decrease/increase the quantity of a highlighted item without having to put the pointer over the arrows... on other things, you must use the arrows and the d-pad does nothing to alter the quantity...

i see similar inconsistencies like that that also frustrate me at times... they need to all get on the same page and stay there for a bit... i mean, they've done a great job with the game but the little things like this need some love, too...
