Whatever it was that happened, it sounds like you have so little time invested in the game that it would be reasonable to abandon it and start another one. But I'd be interested to know what you think happened to shift you to another star system without your own action or knowledge.
Last resort, use the save editor and just "give" yourself the BP for these items:
Hermetic Seal
Hyperdrive
Antimatter
Antimatter Housing

So a person invited you onto there freighter, while there warped the freighter to their base system. Then left you there to rot.
They did it on purpose... They knew it would mess up your progression. If not then they would have just had you teleport to the base.
So if you can't reset the mission or get them to take you back to your system then you are SOL and will need to start over.
