Hyperdrive missing and I am in a different system than tutorial mission.

Am I stuck? Someone transported me at the start of the game to another system and now I can't jump anywhere because I don't have the Hyperdrive installed and I can't continue the Awakenings missions because its in another system. Can I buy or craft the Hyperdrive from another system or I need to start another game? I tried using the Teleporter from a station but the list is empty.

Someone transported you? What do you mean?

Whatever it was that happened, it sounds like you have so little time invested in the game that it would be reasonable to abandon it and start another one. But I'd be interested to know what you think happened to shift you to another star system without your own action or knowledge.

This person gave me a ton of stuff and showed his ship and brought me to his base. Now I am in that system and I need a Hyperdrive.

You shouldn't wander around until you have the hyperdrive installed.

So thats it? My current game is over because I can't get that module somewhere else? I tried buying multiple ships but not a single one has it... I don't get it...

If you built a base, use the teleporter in the space station. If NO base, then check your mission log and see if you can reset the very top mission.

Last resort, use the save editor and just "give" yourself the BP for these items:
Hermetic Seal
Hyperdrive
Antimatter
Antimatter Housing

So a person invited you onto there freighter, while there warped the freighter to their base system. Then left you there to rot.

They did it on purpose... They knew it would mess up your progression. If not then they would have just had you teleport to the base.

So if you can't reset the mission or get them to take you back to your system then you are SOL and will need to start over.
