For OP, these long periods between new content is pretty typical for the game. Actually, we got Prisms so if anything they are putting out more updates then typical in a normal year.
That said, they probably had planned an Expedition for the Steam Summer Sale, but Prisms and supporting the new Nvidia graphic mode was full of bugs. We might see something by the end of the month...or they could just push it off to the Steam Fall sale or hopefully NMS Anniversary time.
That new thingamabob in the back of the Station is promising....I hope they blow our minds.
This is probably the right sort of idea.
Expeditions is pretty much the only way I'm interested in playing the game at this point. I'm still excited about other new content...but I'll wait and try it out whenever the next Expedition releases.
I'm no game maker but if that's what they're going to do, it's a big sandwich they started to eat meaning it's going to take an entire team just for that part and the way they do things so far it doesn't look like they're that fast or dedicated enough
