No players in space anomaly. On Steam

Hello, I played on PS4, now I'm on PC using Steam. Now when I go to the space anomaly there are no online players. Am I missing something?

If you have a funky, non-traditional internet set up, you might not be able to connect to matchmaking services. I can play on my satellite (with a lot of stutter because ping) but I cannot connect on my other internet tether. If that's not an issue, a common solution that works for some people is to make sure your windows' clock is set to auto and re-sync it to windows' current time then restart game. Sometimes that helps :) Good luck!!

I just flew in there. It is working for me. It usually doesn't require anything but enabling your network settings. I usually keep mine turned off till I'm ready for it so I don't know if it disables itself. If none of the above advice works, give it time. It's probably just temporary for your area.

I'm connected directly to the router. I pay COD all the time with 80+ fps. It's not the internet connection. I don't think its Steam either. It's the settings on my PC, but I can't find any particular set up instructions for how to set up my computers internet to be compatible with NMS. I tried shutting down Norton. I tried having the firewall shut off. Nothing is working. I even contacted Hellogames but if you've ever done that you know how that goes. I'll give it a few more days but if I can't get this to work I'll have to move on to something else.

The only pressing reason you'd want other players on the anomaly is for the duplicating cheat. The Nexus quests are too easy to need a group of random players.

There are some more reasons ...
If ProcessLasso ( together with ProcessGovernor) is installed
Java Update Launcher active in Autostart
Logitech Downloader active in Autostart

And a programm which gives you a better Ping in Games like CoD..forgot the name ..

So .. you may check your Autostart in Taskmanager and disable everything...than reboot
and try NMS again...

A very rare reason is : your ISP is blocking the connection to HG-Multiplayer Server..
This can be easy solved by using a VPN Connection

If nothing of all this possibilities did solve it :

you may check my Windows Defender firewall settings against your Settings :
Right mouse click at the windows symbol and choose Run, there type wf.msc and follow the instruction below.

1. Window after wf.msc

I got the exactly same problem. Bought it, and since first day can't connect to matchmaking services. Tried everything, nothing solved.

I tried VPN, I use VPN quite often actually. Got my Astrill, tried different servers or modes... no sucess.

Something is blocking your connection to HG-Multiplayer Server
To make sure that no other program is the reason :
Type msconfig in RUN , there open Services and Hide Microsoft
Now disable all and Apply
