so everytime i visit a new system i have to rebuild the summon platform and find salt, crystal sulphide every time

You can delete the platform and you get everything you put into it back. On PC press Ctrl while in a build menu and there's an X that you can use to delete things.

The easy way is to build the summoning device on your freighter. If it is in-system, you can call any of the exocraft you have built.

At least for me, I had to delete the one on my land base before it would allow me to build one on the freighter. Not sure if they are one to a customer or I just had some kind of glitch.

well i really only wanted to use it to find crashed ships, so when i'm jumping around water planets i can summon it in on another planet to scan different areas, then how would i find that platform again without putting down a beacon to delete it ?

Summon the Nautilon and then deconstruct the platform. The Nautilon will remain. I do this a lot for the same reason - find underwater wrecks.

true but i haven't played this game in the last 2-3 years but the Frontiers update intrigues me, i have forgotten so much stuff

You can build that omni platform thing on your freighter, I havent used it yet but its supposed to let you summon exocraft without needing to build anything on the planets.

Build the platform summon exocraft then delete the platform. You will be able to summon the exocraft on that planet until you leave and build the platform on another planet.
