Stuck

I'm stuck in a space station. I hopped onto a friend's multiplayer and saved there to see if that would unstuck me, but now I'm stuck in the same position on all saves... I'm in a climate controlled area and I can't use my weapon to grenade myself out. I've tried to google ways to get unstuck to no avail. This is the last stop before I delete the game. Anyone have a suggestion?

You could reload a manual save or maybe accept an invite and get out. Not sure on the details, just some ideas.

Your ship always goes with you. It should be in the station bay. If you have a base or any bases on your teleport listing you can use the teleporter and go to a different location. Your ship will be wherever you go. You really can't get stuck in this game...except maybe in the mesh of a wall.

If you are stuck in the mesh of a wall you just need to use a prior save.

My manual save is also stuck. I joined a multiplayer session and saved without reading the message "multiplayer saves do not save player position." So when I manually saved in Multiplayer it saved my character in the same spot as my autosave which was stuck. Now both saves are in the identical stuck position

The ship is in the space station where I landed. My character is stuck and I can't get to the ship. I'm stuck in the walls of the space station

We only have the autosave and the manual save right? Both are in the same position in the walls of the space station

You have someone add you to a group and try to get you out? Haven't done much group play in this game but if you want to try add me and we can give it a try. I played with a guy once and he somehow was able to join me wherever I went.

There is no such thing as a multi-player exclusion from saving. If you were on a Nexus mission you just need to close out your game and when you restart you will be where you were before you started that mission. You will lose all the time on the Nexus mission.

For starters maybe you could explain your situation a bit more to make things clear. For me it makes absolutely no sense if you say you were stuck in a space station. What do you mean by stuck? Can't you move at all? Are you stuck in a wall? Or are you stuck because you have no ship there or your ship doesn't fly out?

You can save in multiplayer, but it doesn't save your position in the multiplayer session. Meaning it saves your items in your inventory, ships, etc. It does not change where your character actually is. So I loaded my autosave because I didn't want to lose my progress since the last manual save. I then entered multiplayer and dropped a save beacon. I saved. Then I loaded the manual save (which I performed in multiplayer) into my singleplayer game. It loaded me into the wall where I was stuck on the autosave.

edit: Ah okay, you already explained your situation a little better

I saw the edit, but just to make it more clear. I flew into a space station. I don't recall if I got out of the ship myself or not, but next thing I know I"m stuck above the flight deck in the ceiling. I can see my ship but I can't reach it. I can move along this glitched corridor, but I can't escape the glitch area.

Remember the day when you could message a game moderator when you were stuck in a wall or some other mesh, and they would summon you to a safe place?

I think I'm truly screwed. And I don't particularly want to restart since I could end up in the exact same position. This may officially be a dead game. 5+ years in development and no unstuck option. Like I can't even understand how that was overlooked

Just in case a solution comes up and before you reinstall the game, make a copy of your current save file and rename it and out i somewhere safe. Did you put a ticket in?
