To me, these are user issues, and I don't have a problem with the way it works, never considered this to be a bug or glitch TBH. Just how the scanner works. Line up and maintain that position until the prompt that your scanner is locked on and ready to scan the planet.
I fly with an Xbox controller. Perhaps this is more difficult with a mouse, and therefore is being considered a bug.
Yes it is. This happens to me all the time and I always use cockpit view, never 3rd person.
Same for me, sometimes. Usually doesn't take more than a few seconds to get it though.
Thanks to those of you who either provided suggestions to improve the issue (1st vs 3rd person)... and those who provided feedback on also experiencing the issue and/or what the differences might be between one user and another (using a controller vs kb and mouse).
To the rest, just trolling and blaming users for being dumb / user error. Would love to see some moderation here just remove you and your posts, clean the place up a bit.
No one was trolling here.
Yes, Wizard of Woz was being a bit unfriendly, but that's it.
Please don't accuse people of trolling just because they're not friendly.
That's not how trolling works.
I disagree. But now we are "off-topic" which is another clear sign of trolling under most definitions.
I'll just say that there have been helpful (and to your point friendly/unfriendly) people here... and others who straight up provided no value and just responded with comments intending to upset or disrupt the conversation.
But I see your point there.
So, I do agree that going off topic is not good. :P
And I understand what you meant.
