I've paid the upgrade cost on the industrial building, "Final fit out", 5 times. 3 Hydraulic Wiring and 1hour 33mins. Over and Over and Over and Over and Over again. Not so final is it? I'm stuck in NMS groundhog day. It worked fine in my other settlement, same building no issues.

Same issue, 3 times yesterday I did the 'final fit out' with hydraulic wiring with no result. Logged off last night, will see if last attempt worked later, if not I'll try another Settlement & ditch this one.
Pity there's no way to cancel current construction when it borks out!

Jump to an another solar system, get back, add the items, wait, working. Probably will have to do before every step until they fix the bug.
Ideally just go to the space station, use the teleporter, then when you select your settlement, it puts you straight back to the main column. This way you don't have to use hyperdrive.

Just logged back on after leaving it overnight building the final fix, for the fourth time.....& it's now finished.

6th time was the charm! Logged in this morning and it was finally done. I notice many of these building phases repeat themselves at least once, but 6 times? C'mon bruh.

Known bug, seems to effect all buildings. For me, each time the timer runs out there is about 30% chance it actually advances to the next stage. I had building fail upwards of 4 times in a row.

Maybe its not a bug (scary). The AI rolls a D20 at the start of each phase, need above a 14 to gain building progress. Next time, I'll reload a save a couple of times and see if it changes the outcome.

I really hope that is not the case. If someone actually though that was a good idea then they should not be in charge of making those kind of decisions.

I was able to test this theory right away:
1. Agri Module / Roof 0% / 140 FE++ / 1.5 hrs
2. I already started this phase, saved game
3. Came back after 1.5 hrs
4. Repeat of Roof 0%
5. Reloaded game 7 times just to be sure, no change

Then I thought (as a coder) these guys don't regression test and we know of other situations where variables are not cleared between instances, so...

6. Start Roof phase again
7. Reloaded game 4 times, each time starting the roof phase before reload

Agri Module moved to next building phase on 4th reload

I just experience this as well. Been doing the 'final fit out' over and over on a warehouse that requires living glass. And I ran out of gamma root again. :(

No, I go to another system, back, then start the phase (donate), then log off. Put a 90 min timer on my phone, when it goes off, I log in to game, phase finished. If more phase there, I go away again before start.

This has been happening to me too. I just got back into the game after this update, this bug is really turning me off. 3 hours of my day wasted because of this bug, it really pisses me off.
