Finding Indium

I am looking for regular Indium. I am on a planet that says it has it but I can only find Activated Indium which I found won't work. Tips?

That's probably an extreme weather planet. A normal weather planet should have regular indium.

Right system, wrong planet. Check the other planets and hopefully there will be one with regular Indium. The only other sources- and pretty random- is sometimes the "glowing mineral" deposits will spawn indium and frigate missions will sometimes bring some back.

Its a dead planet and very easy to work on for Indium mining :)

Indium is in blue solar systems. Scan planets in space.

sounds like you are on the right track; i recommend to keep looking. you might need to try another blue star system. as noted above, scanning the planet from space shows what minerals are available on the planet.

You are in the right system, try a different planet that has normal weather rather than extreme weather. If you scan the planet from space it will tell you if the metal there is activated or not.
