Bone Nuggets and Crystal Flesh

i've been on a crusade to get every cooking recipe these days and the only things im missing are bone nuggets/crystal flesh related stuff---Unlike Gaint Eggs, Diplo Chunks and Fiendish Roe that havent been implemented yet, those 2 are in the game and the wiki says they are supposed to be found from feeding/killing "large shelled creatures"

so far i've only seen 2 ppl on reddit + youtube to have found those ugly things but with either no Euclid coords or no coords at all unfortunately...

Has any of you young adventurer's found those beasts up close or know someone that has?
if so i'd appreciate coords in pics, words or any other form--have searched many systems to the point where anomalies, striders and diplos are considered common for me but still no luck

I get the Crystal Flesh from hunting BONECATS which is a new Origins creature I take it.

These guys have 4 legs sort of like crab-legs but the body is very round, sometimes with a tail like a handle. The idea is these creatures are made of stone and have crystals sticking out of them sometimes. You kinda can't miss them when you see them; they really stand out.

I take it you're in the Euclid system? Sorry, can't help you there.

(BONECATS match your description of 'large shelled creatures' but I've never gotten Bone Nuggets from my guys at least; just Crystal Flesh.)

if you feed them you get bone nuggets and if you kill them you get crystal flesh!
have seen a short vid of someone doing it that's how i know

I have a feeder setup on one of those planets. Guess I should give it a try.
Feeding them is a challenge since they are hostile.

There not that rare, I've seen several. There was one on the expedition 3 starting planet.

Fiendish roe exists as well. Not that keen on cooking but I have acquired that.

Giant Eggs, Diplo Chunks and Fiendish Roe ARE all in the game. I completed mine years ago & while the Fiendish Roe was broken for a while (the other two were not & have been in game all along) it has been fixed a little while ago. You can find all of them now.
The giant eggs & diplo chunks require finding a specific type of very tall creatures, usually with strange looking long legs. There was actually a weekend mission a little while back where these creatures were there & the mission was giant eggs collecting.
