I started using this recently for the infinite resources option, will this get me banned? I'm playing with multiplayer enabled on Normal mode.

No, is no baning mechanism currently. most play solo so any cheats won't affect them. even if does in multiplayer, such giving away expensive items you are creating with save game editor etc, you won't get banned.

steam is not official platform to ask .. nor discord .. so it doesnt matter where you ask ;)

Well no, obviously, but some of them have been playing since release, and some old schoolers have never witnessed a ban, even on a heavily modded game.
