Hi guys, do you know how to do the photo missions? when I press LMB while using the camera it just take a screenshot. I did read the description of the mission and I followed it completly. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I am missing.

Taking the screenshot with the in-game camera should be enough to advance the mission, provided that it's the correct screenshot. It might help to make sure that the mission is active when you take the photo, but that shouldn't be necessary - the photos registered for me even if the mission was not the active one when I took the photo.

What does the mission say exactly? Some of them are a bit unclear - e.g. the one that wants you to photograph a "monolith" or a "ruin" don't work with everything that you may think of as a monolith or ruin, the one that sends you to a "strange world" isn't very clear either.

Just to be clear, you use the camera from your devices, and take a snapshot from that tool.
It is a literal in game camera (like a old fashioned polaroid thing) not the 'game camera'.

It's not an object, it just appears in the menu. Specifically, it's the rightmost icon in the quick menu (which you open by pressing 'X', if I remember the default controls correctly).

But from your description ("I press LMB while using the camera") I thought you were already doing that.

so what I do is press X and then go to the far right and choose the camera. I use that to take the picture but nothing happens.

it says something about a landscape with a lot of detail.

Hmm. That does not sound like anything that I have encountered in this quest. I probably haven't seen all variations of that quest yet, but is this really what the quest says _exactly_?

I am not at home right now. I will write more details of the quest once I get home.

Tourist Images
Take Landscape Photographs

The client wishes to test their image manipulation software, designed to seamless insert extra details into existing photos. They specifically require grand landscape photos, rich in detail. Note: As commissioner of the work, copyright vests in the client.

Objectives:

- reach the target planet (this is already complete)
- Take a photo on a marsh world.
(Take a photo for client. Activate photo mode with X.

Thanks.

Are you sure that the current planet is a marsh world? Or could you perhaps have landed on a marsh world a while ago (which would have completed that step of the mission), but the current planet is perhaps not seen as a marsh world by the game?

I was on a marsh world. I took tons of pictures but didn't work. I left the game and came back a few hours later. I took a random picture on a random planet and I complete the quest. It was really weird. I guess it was a bug. At least the quest is complete.
