Do i just scrap old fighter?

Old: Fighter C-Class
New: Fighter S-Class

So do i just scrap old ship or do i first dismantle all technology and weapons?
That i know at i cant just re-install tech and weapons in to new ship

What is best way?

Dismantle the tech if you really need. But its not that expensive or useful anyway.

Then just buy/exchange the C class one for the S class. No need to scrap

No i add new ship to collection so

I have both ships still on planet surface

If you're not particularly attached to the look of it, then absolutely scrap it.
