Stuck in player's base?
Hi,
Haven't played in AGES. Just started a new game, made my way to the first weird new station type, with lots of vendors, options for multiplayer questing, etc. Saw the portal to check out other player's bases, figured I'd see what's up and get inspired for my own eventual build. Well, I went through and now I'm stuck here. No spacecraft (don't have the navigation currency necessary to summon it) and I can't find a portal anywhere (nor can I build one, as I don't have permission).
Am I screwed?
Thanks!

Dont know how you could loose your ship...
Try to get a friend join you who can provide you with everything..Or join a friends session ,,, that will make you back into your ship

Some bases are built to trap unsuspecting players inside.

Ship is still at the base where I landed - it didn't follow me to this new base/planet (at least, if it did, I can't find it).

Ships always follow you, but it depends on the location of the landing pad. It could be underground. The only time this does not happen is the weird Linkolo system or whatever it's called. If that is where you went you only option is exiting the game.

Quit and restarted - no ship, still at player's base, but this time there were other players around building bases, and one of them had a functioning warp portal which I quickly hopped through back to my starter system. Crisis averted.

OP does not seem to know about this, probably you others as well.

When you use Anomaly's teleport, you get extra temporary function in the X menu, a return to the Anomaly button, it will be there as long as you do not leave the planet or the game.

That function is handy if you get stuck on a foreign base and there is no teleport there, or if you just want TP around to bases to check them out.

The fact that OP missed his ship when he used Anomalyn's teleport has also happened to me sometimes, I think it ends up underground in those cases, but you can always call it with the X menu when it happens.
