You can switch to a new one anytim (and start new)
I don't know.
I have not heard that and see no reason why that would be true, but I have not tested that.
Same here. I like trying different things with settlements. I can totally mess one up and no big deal. There is no evidence having settlements in different saves can cause a problem. The problems I see are just like everyone else's. The only problem I have is one of my settlements is in perpetual citizen dispute mode (no building opportunities), the other 3 are fine.
I wrote this in another thread already, but when you change your settlement to another one, it reverts to it's pre-development state. Pretty sad.
because you can have one per save, and you can have 15 saves.
I actively play 5 different save games at the moment, and check in on my settlements on all of them regularly. I have NO issues with them.
Did it for Expedition 14, when you end the expedition you loose the settlement, any base located AT the settlement remains and once you reload the game the original settlement building you interact with will be removed.
DONT interact with an Expedition settlement building just after ending the expedition, you get the settlement info screen and a crazy set of numbers and the game freezes, only way to exit is a crash, opps, found a bug HG, lol.
