Report a translation problem
Is there a reporting tool that can address this?
Edit: Sounds like people do this to help other players as well.
(confused Yy'Keen grumbling)
As Dashi mentioned, interacting with the base computer will have the option to report it. This causes it and associated components to disappear.
Thank you @dashiichi! I found the base computer, reported base, reloaded, and hooray! Now have first squid ship!
It's there so I can refine and craft all materials I need in order repair the ship, on site. I usually don't remove the base afterwards (or for that matter, upload it.)
If I ever do upload one of these, feel free to utilize the facilities I've left behind to make your life easier when repairing the ship.
How did you find this crashed ship?
As someone who built a base at a crash site, I had no idea this rendered the ship unusable until the base was removed. I found this crash site on my own. Its not like I followed someone else's coords and decided to block everyone else from taking it. Using someone else's coords from yt never worked for me anyway. The ship was missing or not what it was supposed to be so I started searching for myself.
Yep, that's why i always put a small base down at crashed ships. Easy spot to teleport back to, plus on-site mining and refining capability.
I'm not sure if crashed ships are persistent for all players or not, I reckon it's by design that other players can't interact with the ship to prevent trolls from stealing some one else's find. Maybe it's inconvenient if you find a ship out in the wild that's already claimed. Though honestly a crashed exotic will never be as good as an exotic you can find at a trading post unless you're really lucky, and there's no point getting angry about it when there's more than enough unexplored planets for everyone in the game. OP needs to chill lol.
