How can i find silver on expedition?

No you don't need silver (well maybe) ... When I did the expedition several time silver was always around.

There are other ways to get herox. One is dig up buried minerals, some of them will yield herox. Another way is a large refiner and ammonia, tritium and ionized cobalt

There are silver deposits on the starter world.

Look through your visor and search for mineral deposits. Silver deposits should be fairly common.

And, occasionally, you'll find Herox and/or Silver for sale at a Trading Post or Minor Settlement.

i haven't seen a sigle silver deposit, maby Im just unlicky.

Travel 200u in one direction and scan again. I remember seeing ammonia everywhere when I needed silver. You'll find it.

some of the other rarer minerals that you get can be Refined to silver, gold, or platinum.
Scan around for Floating Crystals, or dig up the minerals.

You can look for crystal deposits to dig out and those can turn out to be rare materials like Herox. That's how I got mine.
