In two years it'll be a decade that I've had Steam. In all that time, I've never known about it's music player; until I accidentally pressed something on my keyboard around four months ago. Then I never actually went through it until today. In doing so I realized that No Man's Sky doesn't have a Soundtrack to purchase. Which sucks (Especially since; as far as I know, my favorite song was replaced in one of the updates. It occasionally played during the warping sequence.)! I REALLY WANT THEM TO COME OUT WITH A FULL SOUNDTRACK!!!

I don't think it's possible to get a full soundtrack. I think the company pays out a monthly fee to some company for new music which gets streamed in. So the soundtrack is constantly changing. It's really a brilliant design.

I don't think that's all the music though. I think they add new music over time.

Some of the tunes are generated procedurally, based on samples made by the same band. So they might sound different every time.

Honestly, I wish there were a way to make the music loop constantly. I don't really care for the looooooong pauses in the music. The ambient noise gets very old quick to me but I absolutely love the calm nature of NMS's music. Also, dogfighting to 65daysofstatic's "Dance Dance Dance" song is about the most epic thing you can do. Surprised it's not part of the game's combat themes.
