625u Tall mountains? {Expedition 3}

Need to scale a 625u tall mountain,
for one of the Expedition milestones.

I found a 500u mountain, and used the +creation terrain manipulator,
but the max height is 529u.

What kinds of planets can you find mountains that tall?

Are there any in the starting system?

By the time I was going after these I was on another planet.
Went back to the starting planet and found a 700+u tall mountain,
9 minutes from my starting point base.

you have 625+ peak around -31.40/173.70 on Gisto. And someone made a 625u stairs near the rendez-vous 2 location

For some reason in my first run through I spied a tall mountain nearby, ran to it and zoomed up it, done! No biggee.
My second run, the first two mountains I tried (which seemed just as tall) didn't complete the task. And I died falling on the second attempt :P Third try was the charm.

The expedition is designed to be completed in the starting planet.

rocket man? don't need to climb a mountain. when you reach a space station you can get under one of the walkways and use your boosters up against the wall. because the game senses your character is next to the wall, you'll get infinite boost, so you can keep boosting for 30 seconds.

To get that one, I jetted up the inside of a mountain cave! (The 625u mountain, not the rocketman. Rocketman I did inside my house.)

Follow the trade lines to the large outpost. Right next to it is a tall mountain and a cave entrance. Go in the cave and keep going up. Once I got the achievement, I tunneled to the outside and made a spot big enough to summon the minotaur and jumped off.

There's probably an easier way to do it, but that's what I ended up doing.

Gravity is a cruel mistress. :P
Especially falling that far.

I died jumping off the mountain. So on my next attempt I did the space station trick of boosting against the ceiling and that worked.

I jetted up a stupidly large mountain on the starter planet, well over the 625, then flew off sideways for clearance and fell for 30 seconds with the recharge mod so I could land safetly and get Rocketman as well. You just have to not thrust during your fall until after the time limit or it can reset the thing, which is dumb.
