I haven't fully tested this out to see if it is consistent but I thought I'd throw it in here anyways, maybe someone can experiment and make some use of it.
This is absolutely bizarre to me. I hope they change it, and I hope I never see it again in any other game with building.
Want a large window upstairs in your build? No! you have one downstairs. You don't get to have large windows upstairs, so we are changing the part you selected! Be satisfied with what we give you!
This works but you might let weather in.
I just tried this, and it didn't work for me.
It's truly stupid. I have a 2 block tall timber house with a stone foundation, the stone walls make the 1st floor walls totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥,
(it's very very hard for me to believe it's not a bug, why the hell would the top half of the texture just become horizontal lines WITH HOLES BETWEEN THEM???)
and in order to keep the 2nd floor walls sort of intact, i had to place the walls in such ways, that the house now looks like a painting from the era of cubism. It's horrible, and I lost interest in continuing the build as well. Really sad, as that was my end-game.....
You might also have noticed that the corner roof pieces are not symmetric. It's like we need a left and a right but only have one to choose from. Looks odd to me.
