Voice chat without being in a group?

Is there a way to voice chat with people in the anomaly? Or let's say I run into a random player on a planet, is there a way to voice chat (or even text chat) with that player? thx

if you press enter on your keyboard you can open the chat window. also check your settings ingame. options - network and voice. there you can change options for this too

i know you can chat with people in the anomaly without to be in a group. never found a other player random to test

There is no proximity chat. Free chat in anomaly and team only.
