Are you on experimental version? I'm running the latest experimental patch and just confirmed that Rexxer is right. The portal glyphs are no longer visible in photo mode. I'm going to give HG the benefit of the doubt and assume they aren't that stupid, so am treating it like a bug. I just finished submitting it as a bug report.
Edit: As a follow up, the reason I'm considering it a bug is because the 09/05 patch removed debug information from photo mode for the consoles if I'm not mistaken, so it may have introduced a bug that resulted in the portal glyphs disappearing on a subsequent build.

Why would you even bother saving a name and a picture of a discovery location if you in no way include the coordinates in order to find your way back to it?
Am I wrong? You can look back at every thing you find on every planet you visit in every system you visit right? Why no put coordinate in that?
Yes, this is the experimental version where they give you a preview of coming "features"
I had it all the time too, until today. It's all gone now, not even on stations or planets.
I'm talking about the pic that comes with the discovery in your log. It wouldn't have to be on the pic though, could put it anywhere under the name of the location.
Actually, the Steam screenshot key never recorded the Portal address on the screenshots. It only records if you do an OS level screenshot. Another way they could keep it out of the way of beauty shots would be to add a toggle key for the Portal address.
