Cant find my grave
So i ended up dying in the middle of a nexus mission, but then the game crashed as i was loading back in. When i logged back on i was on the nexus since it abandoned my mission due to the crash. Not realizing that the death actually counted since the game didn't give me a grave marker i continued on a bit before realizing my stuff was gone. I managed to find the rough area where i died and couldn't find my grave anywhere.

Does quitting out of the game or abandoning a nexus mission make your grave disappear?

Sorry I dont know the answer to your question, but I will tell you when you die you only lose your inventory but not your cargo. So just keep all the important stuff in your cargo slots and you won't have to worry.

3rd time reloading the autosave and i finally was given a waypoint for my grave! So glad i was able to get it back, had so much gold, storm crystals, a void egg, and tons of other materials that i did not want to lose.

Thanks for the sacrifice?? In the name of 'Damn this game, Murray, pffftt?? LOL :steamhappy:
Lol, no problem. I think the last reload worked because that autosave was on the planet that I died on, and not on the nexus like the times before that

Nexus games can be dangerous that way, because they port you to the site. Whenever ported like that, get in the habit of always, ALWAYS, going into photo mode, grab the planet address via screenshot, then turn your scanner on and screenshot the planet coordinates you landed at. At least that way you have a starting point for a search later. If you don't have that basic starting point information, you will have to go back to a manual save and HOPE that you made it prior to the quest you died on.

huh, never really thought much about doing something like that. Thankfully I had the habit of making a quick base whenever i go to a new system

That works too if you don't mind the transporter list clutter.
