chromatic warp shielding
What is the above and how do you get it? I can't seem to get around the galaxy properly without it?

you get it from your freighter research terminal and it costs 8 salvage frigate modules (apart from construction parts). I am not able to use it because I have a pre-Synthesis freighter, which didn't get +4 technology inventory slots. And I'm not willing to chase for another S-class freighter. As I can see, this upgrade gives you +50 ly warp capability, which is ridiculous imho... :)

I think they fixed that in the last experimental.
