Advanced Ion Battery and Oxygen Capsule deleted from the game

I am very upset with that design decision. All dihydrogen jelly I immidietly transform into fuell for frigates, and now I'll have to buy more of it to keep on breathing. I don't see why they changed that, as everything worked just fine in my opinion. I just bought a tone of oxygen, a tone of ferrite dust, and made 2 stacks of capsules to never worry about oxygen again. Now I'll have to carry around useless oxygen in stacks. What a disappointing update. Can't Hello games just add one thing without totally messing up already existing ones?

Why would you buy the jelly? You can literally make it.

You can even have it generate more of itself by cycling it back and forth in the refiner.
Refining Jelly into H2 yields 50 per glob, while going the other way costs 30 H2 for a glob; 40 if you hand craft it.

Then you mix it with carbon to make Life Support Capsules.

Do you think I have the time to spent hours on planets mining ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blue triangles? No. Buying it is much better alternative, as i can just refine it to make tones of dihydrogen out of it

Yes i know, but it just takes a while and I am mad that now I have to reorganise everything again.
also all of the sudden oxygen has no purpouse in the game.

Could they not reset the simulation for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes though. I was set for life, I just wanted to get all S's and survey freighters

Yeah i can understand players who have a long term save.

I play in runs you see, so if i die it no biggy i just start again and play.

The advanced ion battery can still be seen in the in-game guide, but for some reason I can't craft it anymore. The guide also shows the items as being undiscovered even though I have about 50 advanced ion batteries in my inventory. They can't be used anymore though.

It seems like a bug to me.

they actually seem to have replaced the Violet coloured image for starship shield battery with a photo of advanced ion battery. The Advanced Ion batteries are useless now.

Oh that's pretty interesting! So I'll have to resort to using the regular ion batteries to recharge my hazard protection now?

I have noticed that it now only takes 1 ion battery now to recharge your hazard protection to full.

Thank you a lot. I didn't get to check it out yet and I was hopeful but worried. Now I can reorganise freighter eq at peace.

That's pretty great actually! I thought that it was unintentional change, but it seems that this is part of the update to the crafting system. The patch notes specified that they wanted to streamline the crafting system a bit.

This is probably what that meant.

Went all the way to Manufacturing facility to check, and it does show Oxygen Capsules there, and that I'd have the recipe to make them.

Still no such action appears in crafting, and can't use them to recharge. Kinda annoying since I've hundreds of them in my cargo, now being completely useless.

I think you can also still buy them, but not use them xd.
