Can't Scrap Ship?

I'm guessing this is bug currently, but I can't scrap junker ships for units. Keeps saying the my inventory is full when I have enough open slots and then it says it gives me parts in the upper corner of my screen. Problem is that I dont get the units, ship isn't scrapped, and the parts that I get back aren't in my inventory.

Have there been any tips or tricks on how to fix this yet?

You need a lot of inventory space for some ships. The animation starts putting stuff into inventory (upper right) but then fails when it runs out of space.
So move stuff around to free up inventory space and it will work.

That would be my guess as well. Just because you have some open inventory slots doesn't mean you have enough open inventory slots.

Ships give a ton of items.

You do not get units when scrapping a ship. You can "Scrap worth X amount of Units." You then sell the scrap or keep what you want and sell the rest.

Yeah I figured it out. I have to have more slots open than what the system tells me to when I scrap it, which I find odd. Told me I needed 6 slots open when I actually needed 8.

its always more if u ever see the amount of slots you need. ALWAYS. And if u see a number of slots it wants i rarely see that just get inventory full message
