How do you find the quest giver who has moved, for a turn in?
I am guessing this is just buggy as hell, but recently I had two "feed the animals" quests in my log, so I did them both (at once). I tracked down the first quest giver who was now relaxing at a trading post. The second, the system itself was marked, but the planet where he went, and where on that planet, not at all. Absolutely no clue where he went.

I abandoned the quest (mission) after a while, which I probably should have done immediately. Anyone seen this before? What causes it? Something I did wrong? A way to fix it?

Highlighting the quest in your log should tell you.

When going to a Teleporter, the icon for it should be marked on the side.

In the Galaxy view, it should show up as well as an icon, if nearby; or show a line towards it if it isn't.

Just be careful when getting quests like that while exploring. It is possible to visit a system and forget to check in at the space station to lock it into your list of places you can easily return to.

I noticed that the patch notes for the latest Exp mentions that they have fixed an issue where the original mission giver was not always being marked on the GMAP and instead would direct you to a station Mission Giver for a Hand In.

If you are playing on the Exp build, you might have found a bug. If on the public branch, then sit tight and see if the changes to this mechanic help at all when the Exp goes live later this week.

I'm still Mod conflict testing the Exp myself, so I haven't had time to check on this new Mission Giver thing.

Finding the system was not a problem. Finding the planet, not possible. Finding the spot the quest giver had moved to (from the station to the trading post presumably), not possible. I returned to the station several times, visited all the planets, etc. Never get a marker for the quest anywhere although I was definitely in the right system and definitely had it in my log.

Yeah... I would just put that Hand In on hold for now until the update drops and check it again then.

I'm on the experimental build. Earlier today I picked up a "kill creatures" quest from a minor settlement. I hung around outside it and shot the 13 creatures it asked for. The quest updated to retun to the quest giver but no icon appeared. iIf I speak to the Korvax I got the quest from I just get the "ask for help with language", "barter" etc options , so have no way to finish this quest.

So yes, many quests still seem to be bugged.
