Fastest word gathering method in NEXT?

What is the quickest way to learn the alien languages? I'm thinking it might be repeatedly doing the Atlas quest in a high jump range ship...? Seems to take about 5 minutes to hit an atlas base and grab the roughly 13 words, which isn't too bad, although I would much prefer it be faster...

look for monoliths (they have 3) and use your visor to watch for them while wandering around the countryside. collecting words is somethign you want to do passively while you are out doing somethign else. I usually get 5 -10 words per planet just wandering around.

grab some missions at the station and just keep an eye out for them with your visor while you are out there.

Visit everything with 'Observatory' buildings and go through the pointers, visit a lot of ruins and plaques, also visit a lot of Atlas stations.

Also always enter smaller buildings and look around in buildings for things to interact.

the fastest way is :
warp to another system talk to the alien in the station for take word and building if they indicate a market go here but if no change systeme ...
and the atlas you need to call nada

don't forget in the star map you can "filter" the system per race (arrow key up/down)

Yes, intereacting with NPCs and giving a gift to them often rewards with more words, but it's not a fast method.

Thanks. After testing all the methods I believe stations may be roughly equal to the atlas stations in speed, and for the purpose of mastering a single language, are almost certainly SUPERIOR to atlas stations - I’ve learned well over 300 gek words now. The other listed ones like monoliths, trade stations etc, while a nice supplement, are waaaaay slower.

If at first the NPC does not offer to teach you, he may if you click on him again since they sometimes offer different responses each time.
