It must be something specific to your settings. Although I do not know what that could be.
This happens with games using certain border settings as a fixed state...
You can usually fix it by going into settings (alt-z if you haven't changed it), Privacy, and turning the slide option OFF for desktop recording.
You'll need to turn it back on for games like MineCraft, but once you know...
