I do three times 2 collect and 1 delivery and always the same problem after i go to the planet for delivery/collect then the game say to me to deliver the good and the mission is in another system.
Another bug then..
I don't have any system to warp, no sign on galaxy map, i think you have another bug.
Where is the funny thing, when i was doing another delivery quest, i needed to go in another system, this time i have an icon in galaxy map.
Done the quest, when i go to get the reward the game give me to complete even the old bugged quest, even if i not get near this system.
I have another bugged quest, get very near to where i'm now, but i cant get complete.
It's seems game randomly get you the possibility to complete this quest.
Perhaps a bug at work, or HG doing its bit to encourage exploration?
I realize that most of you might know this, but it took me 80 hours of gameplay to notice this feature ;-)
Just had this occur in my game. No way to clearly see where the final destination system is.
1.) Took me about 10 minutes of aimlessly flying around waiting for some clue about where I was supposed to go until the message finally appeared telling me it was in another system.
2.) Clear, green line showing me where to jump on the map...but absolutely no indication whatsoever of where the final destination was. No icon, no ability to select it via the menus, nothing. Took another 10 minutes or so of aimlessly flying around until I realized that the system I jumped to was not the "destination" system.
3.) Finally, by aimlessly spinning the galaxy map around in circles, I noticed a red "mission" marker, something like 3 jumps away. I made my way there, and it was trading depot. A mission icon that looked like a package finally appeared in the world.
4.) Landed at the designated trading depot. Clearly indicated robot/terminal thing. Went through the dialogue to deliver the package. Delivered it. It confirmed the delivery, I gained rank with the merchant's guild.
5.) Immediately upon exiting the dialogue, it told me to proceed to the Secure Depot indicated by the client. The mission icon remained on the robot/terminal for the depot I was currently in...to which I had JUST DELIVERED THE PACKAGE AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF COMPLETION FROM.
6.) Clicked on the robot thing again, and it restarted the "make delivery" dialogue, and now, it said something like, "I must have misplaced the client's package. If I can find an exact copy, maybe I can hand that in instead."
From the look of this thread, the bug has been in the game for going on nearly four years now? More?
If the bug isn't fixable, just replace or completely disable the mission set. They're optional missions -- they're not hard-coded into the main questline. Having something this broken -- so readily available at the very beginning of the game -- persist to be a problem for four years is kind of ridiculous. Again: four years.
