I've jumped multiple time but no result.
I found this part of quest on youtube there is only take off from the planet and scan, the new point appears immediately
Did you try to click "C" on one the planets usually you have to search for one if you're not given spot to go with marker from get go. If you're unsure about what system it was you can often see it by making it current active mission, if you still can't you can usually reset so you would get informations I believe.
