If the game is on Xbox Game Pass, they can visit xbox.com as well to check if their profile/account privacy settings are all setup correctly. Additionally they may have to visit the Microsoft store to check for any updates available for applications used.
I do however believe there are still some ongoing networking issues since the Crossplay update, so best to report the issue to Hello Games' Zendesk.
Thank you for your response. So far we have checked the xbox privacy settings, and the parental options. We tried Unplugging the Xbox and leaving it unplugged for 30 seconds. Manually checking for and console and game updates on the Xbox.
It was originally a game pass game, but they also tried purchasing it outright to see if that worked.
I have already turned in a ticket at Hello Games' Zendesk, but I figured it never hurts to check and see if others have any advice either.
If it helps they are on version 2.55.61121.0
Thank you again for your time, I will suggest they check out Xbox.com just to be certain. If you have any more advice I would love to hear it.
did you get this to work i am having same problem and the privacy fix did not work
The Network options, literally, don't even show up if you don't have the subscription. Which is exactly what you're saying you are seeing.
