Game launch options for ultrawide 3440 1440?
I just installed the game as new player, it started up perfectly then when i was on the planet and adjusted some settings to 3440 1440 and everything to ultra it asked me to restart.

After this i cant start a game anymore it stays in the menu where you can select if you want to play multiplayer or normal but whatever i select it just stays there.

I have a 2080 ti and i9 9900k 32 gb ram so hardware is not the problem.

EDIT When i adjust the settings back to 1920 1080 in the local files i can play the game again and it runs normal.

So i guess its a ultrawide bug?

Thanks then i guess we will have to wait for a next update? Has ultrawide ever worked normally in this game in your experience

Yes I think it did but that was a while ago. Perhaps about a year ago when I stopped playing. I just came back to the game recently.

Mine has worked at 3440 x 1440 since day 1 through three generations of CPU/Motherboard and GPU's.

Someone else has complained about the latest NVidia driver update causing problems.

You might want to try resetting the graphics to default values and try to restart the game, and if that works, try adjusting the graphics settings from there.

It works fine right now with the two latest nvidia drivers IF you're only loading an existing saved game.
However, for me, if I tried to begin a new game, I had to go down to 1920x1080 to be able to reach that option in the Main Menu. After beginning that new game and saving it, 3440x1440 has been fine again.

After reading your post, I decided to do the experiment and verified that this is a problem.

I will report this to HG via Zendesk.
