i´m playing on win7, tried every mentioned troubleshooting and still cant see anybody.
my friend which i wanted to play with, chilled yesterday here, looked at the official statement about the problems and said "well, ♥♥♥♥. this will take some time". He´s a very talented IT-profi and has knowledge about this ♥♥♥♥♥♥-stuff
so ... till the devs don´t come up with a fix ... i have to play alone
Even in the video you recorded from, it's on 60854, which is exactly why it won't connect.
This fix is EXTREMELY EASY to do (we were laughing our asses off)
1. Make sure that the game is Closed and Not Running
2. Go to Windows Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time
3. Turn on 'Set Time Automatically' AND 'Set Time Zone Automatically'
4. Make sure that the Time Zone that Windows chooses is the right one:
-If it isn't: Turn OFF 'Set Time Zone Automatically' but LEAVE ON 'Set Time Automatically' and manually set the correct Time Zone
-If it is: Go to step 5
5. Click the 'Sync Now' button
6. Reopen No Man's Sky and try to join your friend; if this doesn't work try it through Steam Overlay
This fix worked for my friend who had just got a new PC, we were connecting PC to PC through Steam. If this fix doesn't work for you then you might have to try something else.
Thank you FireandIce829 for the idea.
