Correction, we are the unpaid QA.
Also win 10 can be had for 5-10$ for an OEM single use code and the privacy concerns people seem to have can be resolved by several free apps including one by the Spybot guys. It's called Anti-beacon.
I never was able to get into this game and this update made me hope to get into it via way of cross play with homies, this is off-putting maybe I'll be back again in a few months haha. good luck tho!
Not 'upgrading' to Win10 because I don't want a spyware OS, and because I don't have to. NMS lists Win7 as a supported OS. End of story on Win10.
- I have been able to add my friend, and
- I was able to view my Friend Code and pass it on.
We've sampled a couple of multiplayer sessions and all has been well apart from issues related to Quicksilver. As far as I'm concerned, the initial problem has been addressed and is now solved for me, but the further issue of Quicksilver-related problems has replaced it. Again, for the sake of clarity these problems are:
- I am unable to access missions from the Nexus which award Quicksilver. My friend (on XBox) does not have this issue.
- My Quicksilver merchant is offering limited stock. Of notable absence; any void eggs. Again, my friend does *not* have this problem.
- Whilst with my friend in a multiplayer session and having him accept a mission from the Nexus which *does* award Quicksilver, I experienced a blue-screen crash.
On a likely related note, but not regarding Quicksilver, I am still unable connect to Discovery Services. The crossplay issue as a whole, it seems, is still only half resolved.
