Boltcaster or Blaze Javelin

Actually using a Boldcaster and doing around 140 dmg with it, have all upgrades i could get. Now i try out the Blaze javelin because i eat that much fire with the boldcaster, the javelin sounds much better because i shoot a shot with huge dmg and can move again, not standing half an hour and fire. But the Javelin without upgrades only does 98 dmg.

My question is, did they nerf it or is the Javelin still worth using damagewise ? When i use all upgrades on him i can get, do i have a really badass damage ?

I ask because my Tech-inventory is nearly filled, i have to decide for one and dont want to remove the boldcaster if not very sure.

it is absolutely a matter of which one rocks your world. I always go boltcaster, but the fact is that any enemy in the game is pretty much toast after you get anything with full upgrades and a grenade launcher. It is about the only key weapon in this game..unless you just like to prolong the agony of the sentinel.
