-Try to get in touch with the player and ask them to help you get out.
-See if a mod that disables power requirements works in that situation.
-Use the Save Editor to change your location.

No idea if this is still actual but hey....

Right, that seems a flawed story, there is no mechanic to autosave inside a base.
And restarting game in single player mode doesn't work? Reload last autosave in SP.
But your autosave will be where you left your ship. How can that be inside the base?
Load your last save by date in the editor, go in the menu Coordinates, then press Warp/Save button. Your save will be backed up and written again, You will spawn in the system outside of space station after restarting.
I am open minded. There are lots of bugs in this game. There are also players that exploit bugs in the UI to place parts where they do not normally snap - glitch building techniques.
It does not help the OP, but I now know not to use a save point inside someone else's base, and I'll keep making backups of my NMS save files to zip files.
Only cheating will get you out of this.
But know this: You got yourself into it in the first place!
If he cant edit the base, then you wont be able to. Sounds like he needs the builders help or the save editor
