How do I build Exo Mech Hanger in my Freighter?
I didn't see the option to build it inside my freighter.

Ok so, Let's list this in a way that's better to understand.

-To unlock the ability to deploy any exo-vehicle on any planet in the star system your freighter is in, You need to build the summoning room on your freighter.

-You unlock the summoning room in the vehicle tab of the Base upgrade section on the anomaly(The computer). It costs 15 salvage tokens and is locked behind the vehicle beacon that lets you summon any vehicle on a planet the beacon is built on. (Which costs 12 salvage tokens)

-Once you have the summoning room on your freighter, that's it. You don't have to build a geobay of anything on any other planet to summon vehicles. As long as your freighters in the system, You can summon them.

-You do however have to build 1 exobay for the vehicle you want somewheres. It can be at a base that you'll never visit again if you want. Just build one to unlock the vehicle and you're good to go across the entire galaxy.

Hope this helped.

You don't. You can build a summoning station that will allow you to summon any exocraft on any planet that's in the same system as the freighter. The geobay still has to be built on a planet.

"The geobay still has to be built on a planet. "
Really? I thought that the summoning station replaces the geobay now, if not, what's the purpose of this station?

The summoning room is just an upgrade to the planet-side summoning station, I think. The one with the antenna that allows you to summon any exocraft but must be built on a planet.

I have my geobays on my home planet near my base computer, which is enough.

You just have to own the exocraft to summon them anywhere as long as your freighter is in the same system.

Edit: So you dont have to build a new geobay on new planets if you have a geobay at your base (or anywhere else I assume?)

I think the Freighter summoning station makes it possible to NOT have to put down the exocraft summoning station on a planet anymore. This way, you can simply call your freighter in above you and have the ability to call any exocraft to your location.

With the older exocraft summoning station, the one that has to be placed on the planet, you could still call any of your exocraft, but the geopad for said exocraft HAD to be already built some place, in any galaxy, before you could use the exocraft summoning station.

The only thing that has changed with the new Freighter-built exocraft summoning station is that once you build it in your freighter, you do NOT need to put down the older exocraft summoning station on a planet anymore, just call in your freighter and then call in your desired exocraft.

You have to have deployed every geobay you currently have unlocked on a planet at least once before the summoning station on your freighter will summon said Exocraft.

I know, I just said I assume it's the same if it's placed anywhere else lol

If you bought it in the anomaly it will be in your freighter room building section.

With the new update you have to delete your old bay from the freighter and rebuild it with the new one found in the menu, then it'll work. More of them making new rooms and breaking the old ones. If it says building is outside the build space, just erase the room and plant the new version of it from build menu.
