This would come pretty close to the equivalent of Todd Howard quitting Bethesda Games and leave for BioWare.
This doesn't have to mean anything other than him being disgrunted with the work and decided to work for another company that have a project that closely resembles No Man's Sky.
But it's interesting to note that the only news from Hello Games since release have been a "hack" and most likely the very same person behind the hack decided to leave Hello Games.
I would much rather hear about an upcoming content release or anything instead of the deafening silence we are being treated with at the moment. Someone should mention to Hello Games that they should probably update their website to act at least somewhat professional, Gareth Bourn is still listed as one of the No Man's Sky Team.
The plot thickens.
"Creating multiplayer logic and play spaces in space and interior environments"
HAHAH !! ya, With a designer from NMS working on SC I will expect him to be fired within a weeks time. Chris Roberts won't even put up with the crappy quality that the Hello Games team put out.
Plus how does a Designer from NMS get a job Creating multiplayer logic and play spaces in space and interior environments" when NMS doesn't even have MP? Does the guy even know wtf he is doing in that area?
"project that closely resembles No Man's Sky"
Star Citizen is nothing like NMS other than it's a space game.
Both games are highly ambitious, delayed and Star Citizen will most likely join No Man's Sky as a failed release game. Their fall might not be as hard but I highly doubt it will manage to live up to the massive expectations people have on it. Star Citizen have the potential to be No Man's Sky 2.0.
