OK, now I have one. What are they used for? The wiki doesn't say much.

It's a "curosity". I also have a Vy'keen Tablet. What do we do with those?

The Divergnce Cube, the Vy'keen Dagger and the Gek Relic can be used at monoliths on planets to discover portal locations, you must use the relic of the dominant system race tho, you can also just sell them for some units
