Is the Space Station Anomaly part of Multiplayer?

I see many similar players like me inside the anomaly. Are those bots or actual players who are all part of the station?

They are other players who land in the Anomaly, you see them if you are connected online. You can further set MP options in the game to set if other players can see you etc. No NPC's will land in the anomaly.

How can I turn on the settings for multiplayer?

The anomaly is the game MP hub. You can turn it off and you will stop seeing other players there.

So I also see that the anomaly has limited space for ships. Are there multiple anomalies where different players join different anomalies?

There is only 1 Anomaly that you can always summon to your location in space in the Quickmenu. The option to join a group of players is given to you at game start, chose the right tab.

There are Times when i'm just a Fixture in the Anomaly. Sometimes sitting, sometimes standing, sometimes giving out Activated Indium , sometimes dancing but always having fun.

I think I may have run into you around hour six.

Someone gave me indium on my first visit to the space anomaly and I was frantically trying to figure out how to say thank you. Is there a voice chat or text system to communicate with the other players in the anomaly? Or are we limited to the gestures?

I think you gotta turn your voice and text chats into public from the network menu

Assuming your Network options are set appropriately:

[Enter] key to begin and confirm text input, right-click to clear and abort.

Not sure exactly how voice operates; it only seems to work when you're in a group these days and I turned it off anyway because too many people would run a hot mic without realising it.

I could see people not realising their mic was on. I just thought it would be nice to say hi to other players.
