LG OLED TV AUTO HDR MODE

My LG OLED TV detects an HDR input when i launch the game. then after a few seconds decides there isnt a signal on that input anymore. If i go into the TVs settings and disable the HDR mode the game is still running but does not display (can still hear sounds) I have tried everything, this basically means i can no longer play No Mans Sky. is there a way for me to set the game to not be HDR? i'm at a loss here. Im thinking of asking for a refund from steam but i love this game and i'm pretty sure they will no refund me because i have owned this game for a while now. please any help with be much appreciated. thank you

Don't you have a regular monitor you can use to change the settings? You can probably also edit the file directly, but you'll need someone more experienced than me to help you with that.

i do have another display to use and ive tried but nothing i change in the game settings has an effect on the issue. :(

you have to change windows to HDR mode in the display settings before launching the game or any HDR enabled title.

The HDR doesn't do anything in the pc version except muddy the picture. Better to play without it or play with console.

I couldn't enable this , so this is not a fix. thanks though

I'm looking for help preventing the game from trying to play in HDR mode.
