You can set it to friends only (as in people listed on your Steam Friends list) or anyone.
But that's it. You can only use your own ship or access your own base inventory. However that isn't all that bad. That means your friend can store things in their own base storage and use your base storage to access point and transfer stuff to you.
To clarify (since i dont do MP) does this mean when i for example try to open container 9 in my friends base, i'll get access to my container 9 contents instead? (like how all my bases/freighter share the same container 9 space)?
Can anyone harvest my plants etc, or do you need those friendly co-op settings enabled?
Is plant harvesting timer shared? i.e. if someone else picks the plant, do i have to wait 120 minutes or does everyone have their own timers.
I'm just thinking i may be trying to push some friends into NMS after Beyond launches (and gets patched a few times) and would setup maybe a mars base or something (do we even have red rock barren planets?)
