Borderless with borders?

So i've been trying to use NMS in borderless but i can't manage to get rid o the windows frame, it's really annoying to play like that, so anyone know how to fix this?

I tried to add the bordered=false thing on the settings, but it didn't work.

Use notepad to edit:

Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS\TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML

<Property name="FullScreen" value="false" />

<Property name="Bordered" value="false" />

<Property name="Borderless" value="true" />

I believe bordered=false is the missing one so copy that in after the others.

As i said, this command doesn`t work for me.

It's a bug, every second start is bordered.
If that happens, alt+f4 out of the starting menu and start the game again which should be windowed.

This definitely works but it's so annoying having to start the game twice every time you want to play. Especially since there is no "exit game" option from the first menu screen.

I have no issues as long as I leave the mouse alone as soon as I hit "Launch" . If I do that it boots up without the border.

It's what shows you tha this is really just a terrible console port. Or the terrible inventory, the terrible menus, the terrible camera, the terrible controls, and so on...

i belive you have some other aplication open, like a browser or something, take them out of fullscreen and the game should start normal.

have to do this every time i start the game in order to get rid of the top and left side of the window that shows. Start game, get past hello games logo, alt tab, right click on taskbar window, close, restart game........
