Lush planets??
Hey guys,
I've been playing daily since the release of NEXT update and haven't found a single lush planet!!
I read that yellow stars have above average chance of getting a lush planet, is it still the same with the update or did they change it?

By lush, you mean the general type, right? I see plenty of temperate/paradise, but the specific 'lush' wording i havent seen in next yet.
I mean the type that more looks like earth. I want to build a base on the "perfect" planet that's lush with normal weather and relaxed sentinels.
They are out there. Best location is around yellow (normal) star systems. Otherwise it's pure random luck. Good luck! :)
Yes yellow systems have the most chance for lush planets. Check out this wiki entry which should still be mostly valid: https://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Biome_-_Lush

You can see there what types of planets you are looking for. Mind you that lush planets can still have extreme weather but it's rather rare and some of the extreme weather like boiling superstorms are just storms every now and then. Perfect would be weather like "balmy" or "beautiful" which doesn't have storms.

Just keep looking, those planets are out there even without aggressive sentinels. They are quite rare though so it might take a while to find a good one.
me neither, was wondering if they renamed it or something.
built a base on a decent exotic planet meanwhile until i find something better :>
Thanks for the info :)
Can I transfer my existing base to another location? Like the archive thingy that they did?
there are tons of lush planets out there...
now if you look for one that has :
- green grass
- friendly sentinels
- no storms
then yeah maybe you are up for a longer search than any "lush" type...

And "perfect" means nothing btw... to me those "perfect" lush planets are far far away from perfect for what I look for.

My perfered type of planet is barren ones... on which I stumble across a lot of those Echinocactus
to gather cactus felsh, and when overflooded from them, it's the only element needed to craft that 80k worth of an item with only 200 cactus flesh...

With star bulbs alone... I can't do crap... and since cactus takes so long to grow...

Btw Barren planets are friendly planets on day time... get cold at night

just my 2 cents that I know no one cares about... lol

you can build multiple bases though.... and storage containers all share the same inventory

So go nuts and build multiple bases

Yes
Not all lush type planets are labeled as such. They have many different labels:

Usually, I go by what the grow when I scan from space. If I see they have Albumen Pearls and/or Star Bulbs, I know that's what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, you do need to land on the planet to find out what kind of weather and sentinel security is found there.
If you have a frieghter build your base on that and just travel the Galaxy until you go find heaven
The weather classification your looking for is "Beautiful"
I have build on this planet. So keep looking they are there.

Thank you guys :)
Will continue my search...

Ha! That’s a weakling planet. The perfect planet is a tropical sunset beach planet covered in rare resources and artifacts and viciously aggressive sentinels in an uncharted system.
