Scientific research BUG

So i have currently only got one base, because I deleted all my old ones and I got to the part in the story where I have to create mind arc, which requires lived glass. In the bottom right, the mission says 'Advanced components require a base scientist. Select scientific research mission from the logs'. When I go into the logs, there is nothing there about scientific research and when I try talk to the base scientist he says nothing, and I just say 'Maybe I should leave him alone'.

Aswell as this my Construction Terminal guy every time I talk to him, I can only reply to hurry up. Like ive got a quest active, even though there is nothing on the quest log.

Im really confused and I cannot progress. ty

Yes and did the first couple of building missions

Nothing, ive found nothing atm just cant play unless u just wanna keep going from solar system to solar system. not progressing :(

I am trying to think in solutions, usually these problems are not really bugs but we are just missing a trigger in some other quest.

Are you doing the base terminal quests?, are you researching tech in the blueprints analyzer?, does the overseer have active missions to do?

BTW, erase the scientist terminal and place it again.

Delete the scientists terminal and place it again.

The game was just rushed, its not garbage. I guess we just have to wait a little longer.
And there is no way atm to fix the issue.

I think they had about two years for revision.

Lol yea, but devs are devs we cant do anything about it. All we can do is stop playing their game.
